The fishing was very slow. The high winds made it very difficult to cast. I caught this 17" Brown trout after catching a 14" Brown trout in the same hole. I caught them on a brown wooly bugger. These two fish were the only fish I caught at Mammoth Creek. I did catch a fat white fish, but I don't count that as a fish. I caught a dozen 10" and smaller trout on the East Fork of the ????? river earlier in the day
